Can we play a game?

Let’s talk about vacations. The ones we have had, are currently on, wish we could have, or maybe are planning now.

We invest money, energy, and time into planning that perfect vacation. It’s an opportunity for us to escape reality, unplug, rejuvenate, maybe get a tan, or spend time with friends and family. I’m willing to bet that God probably isn’t on those checklists when we are researching.

So, what if He was? What if we planned a vacation with God? A pray, eat, love, sort of getaway if you will.

In a world where there seems to be very little hope left, or maybe it feels like we are living in a constant state of conflict, what would you do to invest in yourself, while investing in God, so that you could experience some calm with Him?

This picture for me speaks a thousand words. This would be my idea of the perfect spot with God. A cozy blanket, some warm coffee, and some quiet praise music would be all I need. I could just be in His presence and breathe Him in.

Maybe while dreaming of our perfect vacation with God, we could actually become more intentional with Him in our realities.
