These are sacred words spoken to me by my husband. Beautifully said, right? We all need words of life. I am no exception. I need them often actually. But sadly there are many days that the enemy will convince me that I’m not worthy enough to swing that sword, much less make a difference.
It’s easy to lose all hope and faith when we are bleeding out on the battlefield. We lose ourselves while dwelling on the circumstances because that is what our flesh feels. Our circumstances are tangible. We often wonder where God even is if He is supposed to be this Almighty and Powerful God.
We have all had them. Those friends that mean so much to us that they become family in our hearts. It is a type of love that cannot always be explained with words, but is a very specific type of love that grants us the opportunity to choose who we want to be our family.
How many of us can HONESTLY say we are passionate about what we do for a living? I’m going to guess that the large majority of us most likely have a career that we are not necessarily passionate about, but it pays the bills, if offers insurance, and it puts food on the table.
“The prison is not this place, your prison is right here,” spoken by Papa as he points to Eleven’s head in the series, “Stranger Things.” Like a clashing cymbal, this declaration echoed loudly in my mind.
